Starting on July 23, 2016 - kyo Singapore, XX XX Manila, Cliché Records Hong Kong and BEAM Bangkok will be exchanging their resident DJs - sending one each overseas to play at one of the host clubs on the same night. The Exchange will take place multiple times a year, eventually developing into a platform for not only the various institutions residents to play overseas, but also for affiliated DJs and local talent to get more regional exposure.
With this initiative, all the parties involved are hoping to draw more cross-border attention to their artists and in return also maximise the exposure of an increasingly healthy regional house and techno scene.
For the first date of The Exchange, the shows are:
BRUDER (XX XX, Manila) @ Kyo, Singapore
EJ MISSY (Kyo, Singapore) @ STUDIO, Hong Kong
OUISSAM (Cliche, Hong Kong) @ Beam, Bangkok
MARMOSETS (Beam, Bangkok) @ XX XX, Manila
