DRIVE IN CINEMA ONE FAQS
1. What is Drive-In Cinema One?
Cinema One, in partnership with Ayala Vertis Estate and Ayala Malls Vertis North brings in
Drive-In Cinema One, a unique drive-in movie screening experience where viewers can
enjoy watching movies in the big screen while they are inside the comfort and safety of
their cars.
2. When is Drive In Cinema One?
Drive-In Cinema One is on October 30 and 31, 2020.
3. Where is Drive-In Cinema One located?
Drive-In Cinema One will be located at Vertis North, Quezon City (infront of Ayala Malls
Vertis North)
4. How many movies will be screened per day?
Only one (1) movie will be screened per day. The movie screening will be from 7:00pm-
9:00pm. We will be screening The Rental (directed by Dave Franco) on October 30 and
Unhinged (directed by Derrick Borte) on October 31. All movies are rated R-16 by the
MTRCB.
5. Where can I get tickets?
Drive In-Cinema One is free and open to the public. You may register through
bit.ly/DriveInCinemaOne. Please prepare your e-ticket with your QR code for scanning at
the Drive-In Cinema One entrance on your preferred movie schedule.
In case that there are no more available slots online for your preferred movie schedule, you
may line up at the car waiting lane on the day of your preferred movie schedule in case a
slot will be open. Please take note that this does not guarantee that you will be able to get
a slot.
Kindly take note as well that pets will not be allowed inside the venue.
6. How many guests are allowed per car?
Only a maximum of 3 people are allowed inside the car, following the IATF guidelines.
7. Are there age restrictions?
Yes. Only guests aged 16-65 years old are allowed inside the venue. All movies are rated
R-16 by the MTRCB.
8. What time do I need to be in the venue for the movie screening?
Guests will be allowed to enter the venue by 5pm. For the movie screening, all guests
must be in the venue by 7:00pm. Failure to be in the venue 30 minutes after the start of
the movie screening forfeits your registration and your slot will be given to the waitlisted
attendees.
9. Will there be food concessionaires at the event?
You may order food through Food Panda or through Ayala Malls Vertis North’s food
concessionaires. A list of the concessionaires and their contact numbers will be provided
to you upon entry to the event. Your food will be delivered straight to your cars.
Please take note as well that this event is in partnership with Food Panda. We encourage
you to utilize the Food Panda app. Orders from food delivery services other than Food
Panda will not be allowed inside the venue.
10. Will we be able to choose our parking slot?
Parkings are at a first-come, first-served basis. Upon entry to the venue, you will be
directed to the parking area assigned to your vehicle type and you may freely choose
where you want to park within that area.
11. What type of cars will be accommodated inside the venue?
Only enclosed vehicles with windows (Sedans, SUVs, and Vans) will be allowed inside the
venue. Motorbikes are not allowed. Please take note of the vehicle guidelines as well in
the website when you register.
12. How will I hear the audio of the movie?
You will be asked to turn on your car’s FM radio to a specific frequency to hear the audio of
the film. Instructions on where to tune in will be included in the Drive-In Cinema One kit. If
your car stereo is not working, you may bring your own radio or any portable device with
FM capabilities.
13. What happens when it rains?
Drive-In Cinema One will be operational under certain rain conditions subject to the
discretion of the organizers. Movie viewing might not be as optimal as you may need to
use your car wipers.
14. Can I turn on my car’s air-conditioning unit?
Following Ayala’s environmental policies, you are encouraged to only switch on your car’s
air-conditioning units when the movie screening starts
15. Can I leave before the movie ends?
Yes. You are allowed to leave anytime during the screening.
16. Can I go to the mall?
Gates open at 5pm and you may already secure your slot. We will not allow guests to go
out of their cars once the program starts, aside from going to the restrooms. Loitering is
strictly prohibited inside the venue.
17. Where are the restrooms located?
Restrooms are located inside Ayala Malls Vertis North. Please wear your face mask, face
shield, and bring your vehicle pass when you need to go to the restroom. One vehicle pass
is to one person only.
